Taurus Events is pleased to announce Plymouth Active Leisure as the Health and Wellbeing sponsor for this year’s Reindeer Run, a festive fun event set for Sunday 15th December. Known for promoting health and fitness across Plymouth, Plymouth Active Leisure will energise the start of the event by leading the warm-up to get participants ready for their chosen distance, whether the 5k or 2k run.
The Reindeer Run is a new event organised by the team behind Britain’s Ocean City Running Festival and promises a unique experience. Participants will be treated to a holiday-themed medal, doubling as a Christmas tree ornament, their own set of Reindeer antlers to wear, a free mince pie at the finish and a portion of the entry fee will go to support the official charity partner St Luke’s Hospice Plymouth.
Plymouth Active Leisure, dedicated to promoting active lifestyles, operates the city’s well-loved sports and leisure facilities, including Plymouth Life Centre located by the start and finish of the Reindeer Run and Tinside Lido. Their commitment to creating opportunities for all age groups to engage in physical activity aligns with their support of community events like the Reindeer Run. In addition to their involvement in the Reindeer Run, Plymouth Active Leisure will support the Plymouth Waterfront Partnership’s Santa Run on Sunday 8th December, bringing extra cheer to the season.
