We are seeking Event Volunteers for our events, We will have a multitude of Event Volunteer roles available, including the following:
- Route Marshals (along the route instructing athletes)
- Event Day Set-up (putting up banners/flags)
- Race Start/Finish Area volunteers (to aid in handing out medals and water)
The role of event marshals will include the following:
- Signposting Athletes and providing directions and/or instructions
- Observing key points of the route
- Health and Safety observations and reporting
- Championing the athletes providing encouragement
What skills make a great volunteer
Positive attitude, confident, energetic and observant people make great marshals.
All volunteers will receive a goody bag and free place into future Run Plymouth events.
