Paul Williams will be taking on the challenge of the Plymouth Half Marathon this year in support of Luna’s Fund on Sunday 11th May as part of Devon’s biggest day of running – Britain’s Ocean City Running Festival!
We are grateful to be able to share his story, as he honours the memory of his Grandson Logan.
“My grandson, Logan, never got to experience life in all its glorious aspects, so I promised, in his memory, to take on challenges he would never get to do, and that I had never done before.
Five years later I have some wonderful memories of challenges we have taken on together, from events in Poland, Hawaii and more local to home, and I have plans for many more. This year I will be taking on the Plymouth Half Marathon to help raise money for Luna’s Fund.
Luna’s Fund provides incredible support for bereaved parents and grandparents at a time of great vulnerability, and I am proud to support them in the challenges I take on. Every penny that I raise and that is donated by my supporters goes to helping other families at a most difficult time.”
